These are my driving shoes. Less than half the price and they're made out of moose.

I've got a pair of the Cole-Haan driving moccasins, and I love them. It's just that mine are not... puce? fuschia? lavender?

Do driving shoes really help anything?
I just have a pair of Vans knockoffs with flat soles and very little padding. I didn't buy thema s driving shoes, but they seem to be better for driving, in my case at least, than any other shoes i own.

I'll be honest with you, I looked at your shoes and continued to order my own from that website. Not for driving, but because I like moccasins. Take that how you wish.

You can beat driving shoes for comfort.

You've got a good sole for it, but there's other features driving shoes can have.
The reinforced rounded heel allows easier pivoting. It also lessens wear on that part of the shoe as well as the floor below.
A lot of them also have reinforced right sides and sometimes a hard bottomed sole extension out there to facilitate heel toeing like on these Pilotis.
They're certainly not necessary, but a decent driving moccasin you can wear with office clothes is a hell of a lot nicer for driving than normal dress shoes.

Thanks for that breakdown, i appreciate it!
I need something for my heel, i think. I've worn a nice crescent-shaped hole in my carpet halfway between the gas and brake pedals...
